production method | is prepared by heating the reaction of aluminum mercury and absolute ethanol. The reagents used in the preparation method need to be treated strictly, and the instrument and device must be able to prevent moisture from entering. In a reaction flask equipped with a calcium chloride drying tube and a reflux condenser, 100mL of absolute anhydrous ethanol (treated with quicklime reflux) is added, and 10g of aluminum amalgam aluminum amalgam is prepared by: small metal aluminum flakes are first washed at least twice with dilute hydrochloric acid and dilute sodium hydroxide solution, then thoroughly rinsed with water, and then immersed in mercury chloride solution with a concentration of 0.5% for 1.5min. Repeat washing with dilute acid, dilute alkali and water, and mercury once again according to the above operation, then wash with water and alcohol 3 times, and finally wash with ether, quickly transfer it to the alcohol to be reacted to avoid being oxidized by air., Reflux heating for 24h or longer. Refractory, non-volatile ethanol aluminum products are obtained. First, hot xylene is used for extraction. After the solvent is distilled, the crude product can be purified by vacuum distillation. Boiling point 175~180 ℃/400Pa(3mmHg),200 ℃/934Pa(7mmHg), yield 70%. Aluminum ethanol can also be directly prepared by the direct reaction of metal aluminum and absolute ethanol in the presence of I2 and HgCl2 in the amount of catalyst. |
